                                                                              SCHOLASTIC BOWL
Scholastic Bowl is an IHSA sanctioned, team academic competition.  Our RHS team competes against teams across the state at the Varsity and Junior Varsity level. The questions asked of the students coincide with the core academic areas of the high school curriculum.  The style of play is similar to Jeopardy, with the exception of the 5 person team concept and additional, bonus questions.  Both Varsity and JV teams practice two days a week starting in September and continuing through February. Competitions take place mostly on Tuesdays in January and February with the occasional tournament on Saturday. If you are interested, listen to the announcements in September, or see Mr. Moore in Room 409.
