KCSS families and staff,Following the mandate from Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker, Peoria Public Schools will be closed and Learning Anywhere, Anytime will be implemented from Monday, March 16 through Friday, March 20. This includes all KCSS evening and weekend programs at Peoria High, Manual and the KCSS location.Monday, March 16 is an Institute Day and ALL staff should report to work 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in order to finalize plans for this process.The regularly scheduled Spring Intersession will then take place from Monday, March 23 through Monday, April 13. Due to the governor's mandate, the Knoxville location will remain closed through the Spring Intersession. Students needing to work on Edgenuity for Credit Recovery and initial credit are encouraged to do so at home and communicate with key staff via email when quizzes or tests need to be unlocked.
