Dan Adler was elected to the Board from District 3 to serve until June 2020. He is serving his first year as President of the Board for the 2018-2019 school year, following two years as Vice-President. He moved to Peoria first in 2006 as a Caterpillar intern and then as a full-time employee in 2007. Mr. Adler has served in multiple engineering and project leadership roles at Caterpillar, currently supporting the marketing and development of electronics that are integrated with construction machines.
Mr. Adler graduated from Michigan Technological University with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in mechanical engineering. He serves as a commissioner on the City of Peoria’s Transportation Commission. Dan and his wife Jen are also active in their local homeowners association and the parent teacher organization at Kellar Primary School, where their children Madison and Lincoln attend.
