Mrs. Mayhew

Welcome! My name is Mrs. Keli Mayhew.  This is my 23rd year teaching and my 2nd year teaching at Richwoods. I taught high school English in another district for 20 years before moving to this area a few years ago.  

I graduated from Western Illinois University in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in English – Secondary Education.  In 2004, I received a master’s degree from Western Illinois University in English writing & literature.  I taught part-time for Spoon River College and for The University of Phoenix (online) for many years.  I still love taking classes and especially love teaching classes.  My favorite part of teaching is getting to know my students and helping them be successful.  As a result, please feel free to ask me questions anytime you do not understand something in this course.

  • Richwoods High School Library

    You will need to have a book to read for Sustained Silent Reading (SSR).  You should bring your SSR book to English class every day.  If you would like to check out an online book from the library, you may click on the library link.  Once you are on the Richwoods Library website, you may click on the link under the blue box tht says, "Destiny Discover."  Then you may login to the website with the same username and password that you use to log into your computer.
