Seniors are encouraged to complete their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA) as soon as possible. Many funds, including Illinois Monetary Award Program (MAP) grants, are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Richwoods High School, counselors and Illinois State Scholarship Commission (ISAC) representative Natalie Irwin met with students last week to complete the first step to the FASFA process, creating a FSA ID. The FAFSA ID is needed in order to begin an application and ID verification requires one-to-two week lead time.
