• Welcome to the Parent Resource Center!

  • Robert A. Jamieson School, 2721 W. Richwoods Blvd., will host a Parent University for specialized populations, Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 5 to 7 p.m.  The evening will include free dinner prepared by the Jamieson PAT Academy students and free childcare.

     

    Sessions for parents will focus on:

    • Life Skills Classes for all levels
    • Autism Classes for all levels
    • DC and MCA Classes for all levels

     

    In addition, parents can attend breakout sessions on Using Speech and Communication Devices; Meeting the Sensory Needs of Students, and Music Therapy.

    How To Get Involved
    Peoria Public Schools welcomes all parents and families to get involved in their student's academic journey. There are many opportunities to get involved with Peoria Public Schools, we encourage families to become active at the individual school level or at the district wide level.     Parent University
    Peoria Public School utilizes Parent University to meet the needs of our students, families, and community. The monthly Parent University events provide the opportunity for families to get a wide variety of resources under the umbrella of five topics:
    • Curriculum
    • Assisting Students in the Classroom/School
    • Health and Fitness
    • Parenting
    • Community Resources
    Parent University Agenda

    Workshop Sessions: 6:00pm - 8:00pm
