St. Patrick's Day

On Friday, March 17th, students may come out of uniform if they are wearing green in celebration of St. Patrick's Day.

Student Attire

With the weather being unpredictable, please ensure your child is prepared for recess by sending them to school with a coat, hat, and gloves when needed.

After School Pick-Up

While waiting outside for the 3:30 bell to ring so you can go into the cafeteria to pick up students, please create a second line on the stripes on the ground after the first line fills up past the building. If needed, create a third line as well.  We do not want anyone standing in the way of parking traffic. If your student is a car rider, and you are late for pick up, please follow dismissal procedures by parking in a designated parking spot and entering/exiting through the back of the building.  Do not use the office entrance. Thank you for your cooperation. 

*A reminder for parents who attend parent pick up...If you are going to have your student(s) play on the playground after school, please be sure to park outside the gates. Gates need to be closed when the playground blacktop is clear.

• A Successful Book Fair & Family Night Dinner

  Thank you to all our Kellar Book Fair volunteers and to everyone who joined us for our Family Night Dinner.  Both were a tremendous success!  Our Kellar students were so excited browsing, looking, and picking out their books to read.  We really appreciate all of your help and participation!

  Kellar Book Fair in person will take place on March 1st & 2nd (volunteers are still needed), but online purchases can be made through March 14th.  Click here for more information.

   

  Read Across America Week

  We are looking forward this week to celebrating Read Across America Week!  Students will be given a hard copy of the Dr. Seuss Reading Challenge on Monday or click here to view and print a copy.  When the challenge is completed, students can bring it back to school for a very cool bookmark.
