Applications for library cards came home last week on a pink slip of paper. The Bookmobile will be visiting us every other Tuesday. Students must have their library cards to visit the Bookmobile.
This week, Northmoor raised more than $1100 to donate to Easter Seals! The student from the winning class who donated the most money got to throw a pie in Mrs. Stockman's (Principal) face. Mrs. Henderson's class raised $114 and Jackson Saylor was the lucky winner to throw the pie in Mrs. Stockman's face.
Mrs. Crowson and her 4th grade class reached out to the Daarul Uloom Islamic School's staff and students to offer words of encouragement after the vandalism incident occurred at their school. The fourth grade students at Northmoor made cards to show care, empathy, and support for the school while discussing diversity, respect, and acceptance we should have for one another. The students from Daarul Uloom then wrote back to express their gratitude and appreciation. Mrs. Farghaly and Mrs. Alqudah were honored to deliver the cards to Mrs. Crowson's class to express their appreciation. Click on the headline to see more pictures.

Northmoor is a "Nut-Free School." We do not allow/offer peanut or peanut by-products in our school. Please note that we have recently enrolled students who have severe allergic reactions to peanut butter, tree-nuts, and other nut by-products. Reactions to the smell or inadvertent consumption of peanut butter can range from mild allergic reactions to serious harm or even fatal results. Students, who are not allergic, are asked to never bring peanut butter/ by-products to school. Under no circumstances are treats, candies, or snacks brought into the school or classroom to contain peanut or nut by-products. On behalf or our students who allergic to nuts, we are sincerely grateful for your anticipated cooperation with this safety policy.
