  • Parents, Teachers, Students - Take the 5Essentials Survey

The Peoria Public Schools will join the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) in the fifth statewide 5Essential Survey of school climate and learning conditions. The survey provides a unique opportunity for students, teachers and parents to have a voice in improving their schools. From November 16 through January 16, students, teachers and parents will be asked to take a 25 -minute research-based survey to help identify strengths and weaknesses in their school’s learning environment. This survey will serve as an opportunity for schools to reflect on progress since the last statewide implementation. While the survey is only required by ISBE every two years, Peoria Public Schools uses the survey as a measurement of its strategic plan and encourages all staff, parents and eligible students to complete it each year.
